Electrical Designer
Summary
Working within a multidisciplinary project design team, the Electrical Designer's main mandate is to produce 2D and 3D schematics for our products and projects according to client requirements.

Main Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems based on client needs;
- Use electrical design modeling software (EPLAN) to create plans according to project specifications while adhering to established standards;
- Collaborate on the optimization of manufacturing processes by modifying equipment designs to support component manufacturing, assembly, and installation;
- Analyze and interpret information such as technical specifications or reports related to electrical engineering;
- Act as an electrical reference by answering questions and requests from clients and internal teams;
- Maintain the company's reputation by complying with good design principles and various applicable regulations and standards;
- Generate bills of materials (BOM), select and create new components necessary for project execution;
- Support and ensure proper project execution during manufacturing, quality control, installation, and any other phase requiring design team support;
- Actively participate in the department's continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- College diploma in engineering or relevant fields;
- Demonstrated autonomy and a good sense of priorities;
- Knowledge of ePlan software (Asset);
- Knowledge of SEE-Electrical software (Asset);
- Knowledge of product certification standards is an asset (CE, UL, CSA, GAMP,...);
- Thoroughness and attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment;
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn, especially regarding new technologies such as artificial intelligence;
- Bilingual (English and Portuguese).
