Sr. Warehouse Officer
SUMMARY
The Warehouse officer is responsible for managing all company inventories and ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of materials. This role involves inventory control, order fulfillment, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately manage internal and external inventories and adjust if necessary;
- Carry out annual inventory and inventory controls;
- Pick up and deliver parts to the production lines;
- Follow up with employees who have parts in their possession from the store;
- Control obsolescence and inventory transfers;
- Receive shipping requests and ensure that all information is available;
- Validate delivery requirements with the customer;
- Follow up on shipping dates with various teams;
- Follow up on all shipping steps including: Determining the requirements for packaging systems (measurements and plans), carrying out the necessary packaging, preparation of shipping identifiers, arrangements with carriers, etc.;
- Ensure daily tracking of current shipments and provide updates to internal and external clients;
- Prepares documentation for shipments as well as for part returns;
- Performs all other related duties.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience
- Functional proficiency in English.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
