IT Technician (Temporary position 1 year)

Summary:
Under the supervision of the IT Director, the IT Technician performs IT support operations.
Principal tasks:
- Perform configurations, backups and updates on servers and workstations to ensure their operation and security;
- Take part in the production and updates of documentation related to the department;
- Receive, install, remove, configure, and take an inventory of electronic equipment and licenses;
- Respond to requests from various users;
- Take part in the problem-solving process related to computer applications;
- Provide advice and basic training to users.
Requisite Skills:
- College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience;
- Proficiency in English & French (both spoken and written);
- Abilities in diagnosis and problem solving;
- Expertise in: Windows Server, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Office365, Google G-Suite, Manage Engine, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, GitLab, Fortigate, Aruba, PowerShell, Ansible;
- Good knowledge about networking;
- Customer service oriented;
- Ability to learn new tools and environment
- Be able to physically come to our offices. Given the nature of the position, you will need to be in the office 3 to 4 days a week.
