Summary:
Under the supervision of the IT Director, the IT Technician performs IT support operations.

Principal tasks:

• Perform configurations, backups and updates on servers and workstations to ensure their operation and security;
• Take part in the production and updates of documentation related to the department;
• Receive, install, remove, configure, and take an inventory of electronic equipment and licenses;
• Respond to requests from various users;
• Take part in the problem-solving process related to computer applications;
• Provide advice and basic training to users.

Requisite Skills:

• College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience;
• Proficiency in English & French (both spoken and written);
• Abilities in diagnosis and problem solving;
• Expertise in: Windows Server, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Office365, Google G-Suite, Manage Engine, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, GitLab, Fortigate, Aruba, PowerShell, Ansible;
• Good knowledge about networking;
• Customer service oriented;
• Ability to learn new tools and environment
• Be able to physically come to our offices. Given the nature of the position, you will need to be in the office 3 to 4 days a week.
