Summary
The Mechanical Designer actively contributes to the development of innovative solutions as a technical expert. He/she plays a key role in the design, implementation, and improvement of mechanical systems, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, performance and on-time delivery.

Main Responsibilities
- Design and develop complete mechanical systems: requirements analysis, design, validation, manufacturing follow-up, assembly, and testing;
- Select components, materials, processes, and technologies based on cost, quality, and performance objectives;
- Provide technical support to internal clients (product management, operations, R&D, after-sales service);
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical issues, analyze recurring causes, and recommend improvements;
- Participate in technical documentation activities and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design and development practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- College or university degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience;
- Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing (machining, sheet metal), assembly, and commissioning;
- Proficiency in mechanical principles: geometric tolerances, strength of materials, pneumatics, risk analysis;
- Experience with 3D modeling (SolidWorks or equivalent software);
- Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and under tight deadlines;
- Strong communication skills; comfortable interacting with colleagues and suppliers;
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken);
- Experience in an automated or regulated manufacturing environment;
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma);
- Ability to propose innovative solutions while maintaining a pragmatic, results-oriented approach.
