Summary
This key and highly visible position within the organization involves close collaboration with clients, developers, project management, software engineering, and sales teams. As a Software Solution Designer, you will play a critical role in supporting clients throughout the implementation phases of IT projects, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Principal tasks
Client Support:
  • Capturing and defining client serialization requirements;
  • Acting as the main technical point of contact for projects;
  • Serving as an expert on Optel products and serialization standards;
  • Demonstrating the systems to clients;
  • Documentation and Collaboration;
  • Drafting technical project specifications;
  • Collaborating with deployment specialists for integration and configuration;
  • Designing integration solutions for clients' internal systems and partners (packaging and distribution sites).
Technical Project Management:
  • Leading multidisciplinary meetings to validate project documents (requirements, configurations, tests);
  • Supporting clients during deployments and validation processes;
  • Driving integration with enterprise systems (ERP, MES, WMS).
Product Development:
  • Working with the development team to translate client needs into technical requirements and prioritize developments;
  • Collaborating with IT developers and architects to align solutions with business objectives.
Technical Design and Integration:
  • Providing guidance on software integrations between various systems;
  • Ensuring the implementation of technologies that meet customer needs.
Operational Support and Validation:
  • Supporting the development of test deliverables and validation/qualification activities;
  • Participating in the management of technical changes (assessment, testing, qualification);
  • Training and mentoring teams on technologies and solution design.
Commercial Support:
  • Participating in sales presentations as an Optel technical expert;
  • Participating in the sales quotation process as an Optel technical expert.

Requisite Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience;
  • Over 3 years of experience in technical IT solutions;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills;
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle) and supply chain management (WMS);
  • Ability to understand and solve complex software systems, including problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to understand user requirements, and convert them into system design specifications;
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle;
  • Basic knowledge in programming languages;
  • Understanding of software, hardware, networks, and databases;
  • Familiarity with system architecture, design patterns, and scalable architecture;
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence);
  • Familiarity with GS1 standards (EPCIS, GTIN, GLN, SSCC) and their application in life sciences;
  • Basic understanding of regulations such as DSCSA and serialization initiatives.
